Day One

Our first day is focused on getting to know each other with group lessons to address YOUR questions, interests, and content niche.

Meet, Greet, Create!

  • Join us at a trendy Santa Monica restaurant to kick off the weekend with icebreakers and introductions.

  • Enjoy dinner at one of @TheMuthership’s favorite restaurants in Santa Monica. Then rest up for our big day of content that awaits!

Day Two

Content by the Beach

Spend the day in a trendy Santa Monica loft, connecting with your fellow creators, and working on your content.

  • Start the day at a trendy loft. Connect with your fellow creators before we settle in for a full day of content. A light healthy breakfast will be served.

  • Work together to understand what your purpose on social media is and how that can help direct how you make content.

  • Learn the signature Muthership style of content creation - creating on the go! You’ll learn all the tips and tricks to creating different types of content on the fly.

  • Then, it’s time to refine your skills and elevate your on camera confidence! This in-depth session will have you feeling confidence in your ability to talk on camera. Spend time creating videos in an epic studio space.

  • Enjoy lunch in the Studio as we continue to edit and work on our content.

  • Work in small groups and 1:1 with @TheMuthership to tackle editing. After this session, you will feel empowered to create and edit content!

  • Utilize your time in a trendy flatiron studio to bring your content ideas to life.

  • Ending the day with Q+A session to make sure everyone’s questions are answered before we wrap for the day!

  • We’ll end the day in classic Los Angeles fashion, with smash burgers! Continue working together and collaborating over burgers and salads before we wrap up for the day.

  • After a full day in the studio, its time for you to regroup and recharge for the last day!

Day Three

Content Finale by the Coast

Experience Los Angeles and content creation in true Muthership fashion, by exploring the Santa Monica and making content along the way.

  • Join us back at the studio for another day of content creation in LA.

  • Bring all the content you filmed from the first two days of the trip and get advanced and individualized editing help. Learn how to take your concept from an idea to a video!

  • Utilize the iconic studio for making content that aligns with your purpose.

  • Debrief the weekend of events at our farewell lunch!

FAQ

  • No! You can absolutely commute in daily or from the surrounding area or fly in for the weekend!

    If you are local, please arrive promptly each day at the scheduled start time since we cannot hold up the group to wait for you.

    For those traveling from out of town, hotel options will be provided or you can book your own choice!

  • Main thing: COMFORTABLE WALKING SHOES! We’ll be spending our time primarily in Santa Monica which is a very walkable area of Los Angeles and we’ll be doing a lot of walking each day. The beach is only a 20 min walk from the studio we’ll be working from.

    Clothing can be casual - if you are commuting each day, you’ll want to wear something that can take you from day to evening! You can bring a change of clothes on Day 1, but we may not have a convenient area to change on Day 2 or 3.

    Restaurants do not have a specific dress code, so no need for fancy attire.

  • If you have content gear that you love, feel free to bring it, but nothing too heavy to carry around. Keep it simple for on-the-go content - I will be sharing exactly how to do that in the workshops!


  • Deposits are non-refundable. Your 50% deposit secures your spot and is non-refundable regardless of when you cancel.

    Before January 4, 2027 : If you cancel before January 4, you will only be refunded for the second half. The initial 50% deposit is still non-refundable.

    January 4 – January 16, 2027 : No refunds will be issued, but you may transfer your spot to another person. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing.

    After January 16, 2027: No refunds and no transfers. All sales are final at this stage.

    Spot Transfers
    Transfer requests must be made at least 2 weeks before the event start date (by January 16, 2027) and submitted via email. 

    If the Event is Cancelled by Muthership
    In the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled by us, all attendees will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit.
